Programmed is currently seeking reliable and motivated Catering Attendants to join a leading national airline catering provider located at Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine).

These positions offer an immediate start with ongoing opportunities across day AND afternoon shifts. Successful candidates will be working in a fast-paced airline catering environment, supporting the preparation and packing of meals and supplies for major airlines.

About your new role:

  • Make & Pack – Organising catering packs and airline catering carts
  • Portioning and packaging meals according to specifications
  • Measuring food quantities and preparing catering items
  • General kitchen and food production duties
  • Pick & Pack (Bar) – Organising and packing bar carts and beverage supplies
  • Wash & Pack – Washing and packing catering equipment
  • Working on wash lines and conveyor belts loading and unloading cutlery, trays and dishes
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Following operational processes and procedures
  • General housekeeping and cleaning duties


About you:

  • Previous experience in food production, catering, hospitality with pick packing (advantageous)
  • Food Handler Certificate (advantageous but not essential)
  • Basic knife skills (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of food safety principles and workplace health and safety practices
  • Available to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
  • Physically capable of working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment
